Terms of Service
Last updated: September 10, 2026
Quick read: Talverra is a personal-finance organizer — not a bank, not a financial advisor, and not an investment platform. You're responsible for the decisions you make with the information you see. If you subscribe to Plus or Premium, billing is handled by Apple or Google, not by us.
1. Who we are
"Talverra," "we," and "us" refer to NurvPoint Technologies LLC, the company that owns and operates the Talverra app and the talverra.app website (the "Service"). Talverra is a product of NurvPoint Technologies LLC. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Talverra. If you're between 13 and 18, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
3. What the Service does
Talverra helps you organize your bills and plan around your money. In the current version:
- You enter your bills and the app reminds you when they're due and keeps their payment history.
- You enter accounts and transactions by hand and assign them to categories; the app matches transactions to bills and learns from your confirmations.
- If you choose to, and your plan includes it, you can connect a bank account through Plaid. The app then shows that account's balance and transactions, suggests recurring charges it spots, and keeps them current when you sync. Connecting a bank is optional and you can disconnect it at any time.
- You set budgets and goals; the app tracks progress.
- You enter income; the app projects your cash flow over the coming weeks and shows what is safe to spend.
- You enter debts; the app plans a payoff order.
- You enter investment holdings; the app values them using market prices.
- You enter credit-score readings; the app charts them. Talverra does not pull your credit report.
- The app shows your net worth over time, a financial health score, spending reports (with CSV export on Premium), and a retirement projection based on the assumptions you enter.
- If you use more than one currency, the app converts figures using published reference rates and marks converted figures as approximate.
- Paid tiers (Plus and Premium), when available, unlock additional features described in Section 6.
Paying bills through Talverra is not part of the current version. If we add it, we will update these Terms and our Privacy Policy first.
4. What the Service is NOT
- Not a bank. We don't hold or move your money. Every balance you see in Talverra is either a number you entered or a figure your bank reported through Plaid; we cannot change either.
- Not a financial advisor. Projections, forecasts, scores and suggestions in the app are general organizational tools, not personalized financial advice. Consult a licensed professional for advice about your situation.
- Not investment advice. Market prices shown in the app are indicative, may be delayed, and are not a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
- Not a currency service. Currency conversions use published reference rates for information only; they are not the rate you would get in a real transaction.
- Not an accountant. Nothing in the app prepares or files your taxes. The tax and business-expense flags and the tax summary export are organizational aids you should check with a professional.
- Not your bank's statement. Linked-bank data is only as current and complete as what your bank makes available through Plaid; a transaction may appear late, as pending, or not at all. Check with your bank before relying on a balance.
5. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If you sign in with Apple or Google (where offered), you're relying on those providers' security to keep your account safe.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about yourself.
- Keep your password (or your Apple/Google account) secure.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access (support@talverra.app).
- Not share your account with another person.
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and cancels any trial or subscription entitlement without a refund (see Section 6). If you would rather not use the in-app control, email support@talverra.app from the address tied to your account and we will delete your account and data as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Subscriptions, billing, refunds
6.1 Free tier
The Free tier has no time limit and requires no card. It includes up to 10 active bills, 3 budgets and 2 goals, 3 months of spending-report history, and no bank connections. The app shows these limits where they apply.
6.2 Plus and Premium
When subscriptions are available:
- Plus — $6.99 per month or $59.99 per year — removes the Free limits and adds bank connections (up to three bank logins), month-by-month budget history and rollover, the debt payoff planner, the six-month trend, monthly detail and spending-by-tag reports, the financial health score and the subscriptions audit.
- Premium — $11.99 per month or $99.99 per year — includes everything in Plus plus unlimited bank connections, net worth, investments, retirement planning detail, the cash-flow forecast, the year in review, credit-score tracking and CSV export.
The exact features of each tier are listed in the app at the time you subscribe. Prices are in US dollars; the app stores may show prices in your local currency and may vary by region.
6.3 Free trial
New accounts may start one 14-day free trial of Premium, with no card required. When the trial ends, your account returns to the Free tier unless you subscribe. A trial can be used once per account.
6.4 Referral rewards and promotional codes
Every account has a referral code you can share. When someone creates an account with your code and later pays for a Plus or Premium subscription, you earn 60 days of that same tier, banked to your account. Banked time is applied when your own paid subscription ends (or, if you have none, right away when it is credited), so it never overlaps a period you are paying for. The rules:
- A code can be entered when creating an account or in Settings within 7 days of creating the account, once per account. You cannot use your own code.
- Rewards are held for 14 days after your friend's first payment and are voided if their subscription ends inside that hold.
- There is no limit to how many friends you can refer. Banked time has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and is not refundable.
- Deleting your account forfeits any banked time.
- We may void rewards, refuse a code or close accounts where we believe the program is being abused (for example, accounts created only to farm rewards).
We may also issue promotional codes that grant a plan for a set period. A promotional code is subject to the limits stated when it is issued, may be redeemed once per account, and has no cash value.
6.5 Billing is handled by the app stores
Paid subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never receive your card number or billing details. When you subscribe, Apple or Google charges your account, our subscription-management service (RevenueCat) tells us your subscription is active, and the app unlocks the corresponding features.
6.6 Cancellations
You can cancel a subscription at any time:
- On iOS: iPhone Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Talverra → Cancel Subscription.
- On Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Talverra.
When you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current billing period. The subscription doesn't renew after that. Any banked referral time starts when the paid period ends.
6.7 Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we don't process refunds ourselves. To request one: iOS — reportaproblem.apple.com; Android — play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory. If you feel you've been charged unfairly, email support@talverra.app and we'll do what we can to help on our side.
7. Acceptable use
Don't:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
- Attempt to break, exploit, reverse-engineer or extract source code from the app.
- Use the Service to harass, abuse or harm another person.
- Bypass any rate limit, anti-abuse or security measure.
- Connect a bank account that is not yours or that you are not authorized to view.
- Abuse the referral program (see Section 6.5).
- Submit content that infringes someone else's intellectual property.
- Resell, rebrand or commercially redistribute the Service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
8. Your content
You own the information you put into Talverra, and the bank data you choose to connect stays yours. You grant us a limited license to store, process and display it to you (and only you) as needed to operate the Service. We claim no ownership of your data.
9. Our content
Talverra's name, logo, design, code, written content and brand assets are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property law. You may not use them outside of Talverra without our written permission.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or always accurate; that its projections, scores, calculations or conversions will be correct or beneficial for your situation; that data from a connected bank will be complete, current or available; or that it will meet your particular needs. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Talverra is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, missed or late payments, fees charged by third parties, or any other intangible loss, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
12. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account (Section 5). We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if we're required to by law, or if continuing to provide the Service to you would expose us to material risk.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll tell you in the app or by email at the address on your account before it takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page is always the source of truth.
